A wider perspective

The right experience.
The right connections.
A clear path forward.

Consequential decisions call for more than advice. They call for perspective, relationships, and practical judgment.

We bring executive experience and an extensive industry network to owners, boards, investors, leadership teams, utilities, governments, and mission driven organizations—helping them navigate growth, governance, transactions, and complex infrastructure decisions.

An Advisor’s Perspective.
An Operator’s Judgment.

Our founder brings a distinctive combination of strategic advisory, corporate governance, and hands-on executive leadership experience across the environmental, water, and AEC sectors. His career spans business growth and transformation, mergers and acquisitions, infrastructure development, and leadership of organizations navigating complex challenges and opportunities.

Prior to establishing InfraFoundry, our founder served as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of Corvias Infrastructure Solutions (CIS), where he led the company’s successful separation from Corvias Group and transformation into an independent, nationally recognized infrastructure firm. His leadership encompassed organizational restructuring, rebranding, geographic expansion, and the launch of new advisory capabilities focused on climate resilience, disaster mitigation, and environmental finance. During his tenure, CIS expanded its client base by severalfold, secured more than $200 million in contract awards, earned ten national industry awards, and achieved a #153 ranking on ENR’s 2025 Top 200 Environmental Firms list, positioning the company for its next phase of growth.

His broader experience includes leading the successful acquisition of an AEC business, advising companies on strategic growth and transactions, serving on corporate and environmental nonprofit boards, and contributing to national infrastructure policy through the U.S. EPA Environmental Finance Advisory Board.

This combination of boardroom perspective, operating accountability, and extensive industry relationships defines InfraFoundry’s approach: seeing the bigger picture, asking the right questions, connecting people and opportunities, and translating strategy into practical, measurable outcomes.

Corporate &
Strategic Advisory

01 /
Drawing on firsthand executive experience and involving other former CEOs as appropriate, we help owners, boards, investors, and leadership teams improve performance, accelerate growth, strengthen governance, and navigate acquisitions and ownership transitions.

We work alongside owners, boards, private equity sponsors, and leadership teams on the decisions that shape enterprise value—from business turnaround and growth to succession, acquisition readiness, and post-sale integration. Our advice combines firsthand board and executive operating experience with deep knowledge of the AEC, water, environmental, and infrastructure markets.

Our support includes:

  • Enterprise turnaround and growth: Assess business performance, identify barriers to profitable growth, sharpen market positioning, and establish practical priorities for organizational restructuring, operational improvement, and execution.
  • Corporate and board governance: Bring independent judgment to strategy, leadership oversight, risk, succession, and major business decisions. Help boards and executives clarify responsibilities, strengthen accountability, and align organizational priorities.
  • Acquisition strategy and sourcing: Help identify potential acquisition targets, assess strategic fit, develop market and business intelligence, connect relevant decision-makers, and coordinate exploratory discussions.
  • Commercial and operational diligence: Evaluate market positioning, client relationships, service offerings, leadership capabilities, and operating performance to help buyers understand growth potential, integration challenges, and business risks.
  • Succession and ownership transition: Help owners and leadership teams assess sale readiness, strengthen management continuity, and prepare the business for a potential acquisition, ownership transition, or leadership change.
  • Integration and executive support: Establish post-acquisition priorities, align teams and operations, and support implementation through ongoing strategic advice or fractional executive leadership.

Water Sector &
Climate Adaptation Advisory

02 /
Working alongside nationally recognized companies, we help utilities, governments, foundations, and mission-driven organizations turn water and climate challenges into practical strategies, fundable programs, and measurable community benefits. We bring the technical perspective, institutional knowledge, and relationships needed to connect policy, capital, and community priorities—and move important initiatives toward implementation.

Our founder’s experience includes leading the team that supported the issuance of Buffalo Sewer Authority’s $54 million Environmental Impact Bond, helping develop the business case for Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District’s $29 million public-private partnership (P3), and founding Resilient Infrastructure Sustainable Communities (RISC), an initiative credited with catalyzing more than $100 million in green stormwater infrastructure investments across the Great Lakes region.

Our support includes:

  • Infrastructure funding and financing: Assess funding pathways, financing approaches, and investment readiness, drawing on experience with environmental impact bonds, green bonds, philanthropic support, and public-private investment models.
  • Pay-for-performance and innovative program delivery: Working alongside specialized public-private partnership providers, assess delivery approaches, advise on business plans and procurement frameworks, and help clients address risk allocation, costs, maintenance, and performance accountability.
  • Stormwater strategy and climate adaptation: Help communities and utilities address flooding, stormwater, water-quality challenges, and changing climate conditions through nature-based solutions, integrated planning, investment prioritization, and connections to experienced implementation partners.
  • Policy, research, and economic analysis: Review performance indicators and evaluation frameworks to help clients prioritize investments and measure environmental, economic, and community benefits.
Across both areas, we provide fractional C-suite/executive leadership and strategic advisory support during leadership transitions, organizational transformation, and transactions.

A shared commitment

Organizations We Support

Alliance for the Great Lakes

A nonpartisan nonprofit working across the region to protect the fresh water that anchors our communities and economy. Their region-wide view of a shared resource reflects the same long-term thinking we bring to water and infrastructure advisory.

American Council of Engineering Companies

The business association representing engineering firms across the country, advocating for the AEC industry and the professionals who build it. Supporting the organizations that represent AEC firms is a natural extension of our own work advising their owners, boards, and leadership teams.

Great Lakes & St. Lawrence Cities Initiative

A coalition of mayors and municipal leaders working together to protect and restore the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River basin. Their city-by-city approach to a shared waterway mirrors the kind of practical, ground-level coordination we bring to infrastructure and water advisory.

Green Infrastructure Leadership Exchange

A network connecting local governments and water agencies across the U.S. and Canada to advance green stormwater infrastructure. Their peer-to-peer model reflects something we believe deeply: that the right relationships accelerate better outcomes.

National Association of Clean Water Agencies

The national voice for public clean water utilities, advocating on legislative, regulatory, and legal issues that shape how wastewater and stormwater get managed across the country. Their work sits squarely upstream of our own advisory practice: the funding, financing, and policy decisions NACWA shapes nationally are the same ones we help individual utilities and clients navigate locally.

The Nature Conservancy

A global conservation organization protecting the lands and waters that all life depends on. The scale and patience of their work is a reminder that the infrastructure decisions we advise on today shape outcomes for generations.

U.S. Water Alliance

A national network advancing policy and practice toward a sustainable, equitable water future for all. Their national perspective on water policy is a natural counterpart to the local and regional water advisory work we do every day.

The Water Council

A Milwaukee-based nonprofit that has built the region into a global hub for water technology, linking water-focused companies, researchers, and entrepreneurs to drive economic development. Their work treating water as both an environmental priority and an economic opportunity reflects exactly the dual lens we bring to water sector advisory.

Water Environment Federation

A global association of water-quality professionals advancing clean water through education, advocacy, and technical expertise. Their focus on the people and practices behind water infrastructure reflects our own belief that sound water strategy depends as much on judgment and relationships as it does on engineering.
